Alvana Peters Head, a resident of Walker, LA departed this life on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She leaves to cherish her memories eight children: Jeannette (Elder Peter) Donald, Pine Grove LA; Willie (Juanita) Head, Jr., Mary (Richard Jr.) Lockhart, Lawrence Head, Marvin Head, Gary Head, Bettina Head all of Walker, LA; and Katina Head, Baton Rouge, LA; five siblings, Zeb Peters Galveston, TX; Lillie Allen, Joseph Rome both of Baton Rouge, LA; Wilbert Peters, Baker, LA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726.  Visitation will continue Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 12-1 p.m. at House of Praise COGIC, 13900 JR Drive, Walker, LA 70785 until Homegoing Celebration at 1 p.m.
