She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Lavonshell Gordon & son, Marlon (Sandra) Gordon; 2 grandchildren, Tommy (Katrice) Gordon & Amber Nicholas; & a host of family & friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Tomie & Sarah Hickerson Furlow; maternal & paternal grandparents.
