Betty Deemer Jackson

Betty Deemer Jackson, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and life-long educator passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024, at Our Lady of Lake Hospital.  Betty was born on August 14, 1940, to the late James Deemer and Carrie Ealy Deemer.  She was a resident and native of Denham Springs, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 206 Sullivan Street, Denham Springs, LA. from 3:00PM - 5:00PM,  with a religious service immediately following from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. During this service, individuals will be allowed to share thoughts, stories, and precious memories of Mrs. Betty Jackson. Funeral service will be observed on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 11:00AM, at First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, 1020 South Range, Denham Springs LA.  Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of 68 years, Matthew Jackson, two daughters; Twyler Williams, and Rev. Joya Hall, and husband Rev. Ranches Hall; grandchildren, Janesa Okafor, Tyler Williams, and Jalon Hall; and one great grandchild, Larry Whitley.
