Carter Spears, Jr., a resident of Greensburg, he departed this life Saturday, November 9, 2013 at North Oak Medical Center, Hammond at age 76. Visitation at Rocky Hill AME Church, 151 Rocky Hill, Greensburg from 10 am Saturday, November 16 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Joe Chaney. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by two daughters,
Fannie Spears of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Mona Lisa Spears of New Orleans; a brother, LS Spears, Sr. of Greensburg; two sisters, Inez Hardy of Baton Rouge and Inell Tillman of New Orleans.
