Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Lane, Greensburg from 5 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Religious service at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg at 1 pm Thursday. Conducted by Rev. Gary Porter. Interment in Black Creek Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by her children, Laura Porter, Rhonda Porter and Raven Porter all of Greensburg; Wright Porter, Jr., Greensburg, Russell Porter, Upper Marlboro, MD., Gary Porter, (Alecia), Independence, Reginald Porter, Sr., (Bianca), Amite and Frederick Porter (Berneita), Baton Rouge and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Wright Porter, Sr.; a son, Richard Porter; parents; three sisters and four brothers. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home
