David Alvin Cornish, Sr. departed this life on December 5, 2025, at the age of 86. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Ln., Greensburg, La 70441 at 5 pm to 8 pm. Viewing will resume on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 9 am until the religious service at 11 am. Rev. Elton Strickland will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Turner Chapel Church Cemetery.
