Drandy Abron Bartholomew entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the age of 63. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of both Orleans and Washington parishes. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School in New Orleans, LA and received an Associate Degree from Charity Hospital Radiologic Technology Program.
Drandy was a loving and devoted wife of 27 years to Vaughn Bartholomew. A dear sister to Landry (Rhonda) Abron, and the late Hida Abron. Daughter of the late Leroy and Elnora Abron. Sister-in-law of Herman (Linda) Bartholomew, Adrienne B. (Barry) Esteen and Germaine Bartholomew. Aunt of Barry M. Esteen, III and Brandon C. Esteen. Drandy is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia COGIC, St. Paul COGIC, Avondale COGIC, Spain Street COGIC, and St. James COGIC are invited to attend the Home Going Service at Gospel Temple COGIC, 82 Banks Lane, Pine Grove, LA on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation is from 10 AM to 11:00 AM. Superintendent Peter Donald, host pastor – Apostle Leroy Banks officiating.
