Esther D. Martin departed this life on April 25, 2026, at the age of 92. Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Ln., Greensburg, La 70441 at 10 am to 5 pm. Viewing will resume on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg, La 70441 at 12 noon until the religious service at 1 pm. Dr. Moses Simms will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Turner Chapel Cemetery.
