Gertrude Mount "Gert", 95, a resident of Denham Springs, departed this life Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 at her resident. Visitation at New Zion Baptist Church, 126 East St., Denham Springs, Rev. Leroy Taylor, pastor from 4 pm to 8 pm Friday, Feb. 10. Religious service at 11 am Saturday. Rev. Jesse Williams, officiating. Interment in Plainview Cemetery, Denham Springs. Survived by two daughters, Margarette Whitley and Rosa D. Parker both of Denham Springs; four sons, McKinley Donahue, Sr., Lake Charles; Cornelius Donahue, San Diego, CA; Alvin Ray Donahue, Grandview, MO and Larnell Mount, Denham Springs, a sister, Elizabeth Loyd, Seattle, WA; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a great-great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
