Gloria Anderson

Gloria D. Anderson, 77, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Jackson, departed this life Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at her home. Visitation at McKowen Missionary Baptist Church, 1255 Louise St., Baton Rouge from 9 am Saturday, Jan. 13 until religious service at 1 pm. Conducted by Rev. Burnett King, Sr. Interment in McKowen Baptist Church cemetery, Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Annie Mae Jackson and Calvin Emile Anderson (Phyllis), five grandchildren, Tyesha, Erica, Jessica, Calesia and Ciara; six great grandchildren, two sisters, MaryThomas (John) and Lucinda Carter; a brother, Joe Carter (Delores), two devoted nephews, Ted Carter (Paula) and Eric Carter (Lisa), a sister in law, Edna Crockett, a godchild, Chelsie Cheffen and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham Springs.
