Helen Jackson Graham 91, a resident of Pine Grove passed away peacefully at her home on May 25, 2021. Born August 3, 1929 to Wilford Jackson, Sr. and Ruth Quillen. Married Pearce Graham and was a mother of three children. She was a retired Food Service Worker for St. Helena Parish School System and a longtime member of Donald Chapel and Gospel Temple COGIC, Elder Peter Donald, Pastor
She is survived by her loving daughter, Grace J. Bell, Pine Grove, LA; a grandson raised as a son, Emanuel Jacque, Baton Rouge, LA; a daughter-in-law, Edna Mae DeVance, Greensburg, LA; a brother-in-law, Willie James, Baton Rouge, LA; fifteen grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren; thirty great, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Quillen; father, Wilford Jackson, Sr; seven siblings, Annie Mae Carter, Wilma Robertson Saulsberry, Elizabeth Benjamin, Alice Muse Fisher, Deloris King, Louise James, Wilford Jackson, Jr.; a daughter, Betty Jean Graham (Benjamin) Self; a son, Robert Earl DeVance; a granddaughter, Yolanda Jackson Osby; a niece, Linda Faye (Kado) Parker.
Drive by Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2021 from 5 - 8 PM at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, INC, 87 Paddio-Johnson Lane, Greensburg, LA 70441. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Gospel Temple COGIC, 82 Banks Lane, Pine Grove, LA 70453. Interment, Gospel Temple COGIC Church Cemetery (COVID-19 Social Distancing Protocols will be in place.
