Helen Wright Spears departed this life on October 27, 2025, at the age of 92. Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Greater Allen Chapel AME Church, 6175 Scenic Hwy., Baton Rouge, La 70805 at 10 am until the religious service at 12 noon. Rev. Ranches Hall will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery.
