James Dixon, Sr., 69, a resident of Houston and a native of Springfield, departed this life Monday, May 4, 2015 at Memorial Hermann Hospital, The Woodlands, Texas. Visitation at Galilee Baptist Church, 25969 Haynes Settlement Rd., Springfield from 9 am Saturday, May 16 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Warren Richards. Interment in Galilee Church Cemetery, Springfield.
