Johnny Banks, 84, of Denham Springs, departed this life Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Nottingham Rehab., Baton Rouge. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs from 2 pm to 8 pm Friday, March 16. Visitation will resume at Greater St. Mary Baptist Church, 58820 West W. Harleaux Blvd., Plaquemine from 9 am Saturday until religious service at 11 am. Apostle Dr. Leroy Banks, officiating. Interment in Grace Memorial Cemetery, Plaquemine. Survived by his son, Thomas Stewart; two daughters, Faye Banks Stutts and Renae Chatman; two sisters, Willie Edna Grayer and Elizabeth Wytts; four grandchildren, Dwayne, Tonnetta, Brandon and John; two great grandchildren; three god children, Yumanti Allen, Pastor Laurie Washington and Lee Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
