Julius Powell departed this life on January 19, 2026, at the age of 77. Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at New Sunlight Baptist Church, 1777 America St., Baton Rouge, La at 9 am until the religious service at 11 am. Rev. Dale Flowers will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Winnfield Memorial Park.
