A retired educator with the East Baton Rouge and St. Helena Parish School System, she departed this life Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Greensburg, LA at age 62. Visitation at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg from 5 pm to 8 pm Sunday, January 5, 2014. Final visitation at the church from 9 am Monday, January 6 until religious service at 1 pm. Conducted by Rev. Carolyn Habersham. Interment in the church cemetery.
