LaWayne Smith departed this life on August 3, 2024, at the age of 55. He leaves to cherish three sisters, Jacqueline Wilson, Brenda and Denise Smith; five brothers, Nathaniel Jr., Patrick, Donald, Steven and Dennis Smith. Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church, 1405 Hwy. 409, Slaughter, La 70777 at 10 am until religious service at 11 am. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
