Marcus De'Shaun Franklin departed this life on March 11, 2026, at the age of 44. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs, La 70726 at 5 pm to 8 pm. Viewing will resume on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at New Bethel Baptist Church, 240 Jefferson Loop, Simmesport, LA 71369 at 10 am until the religious service at 11 am. Elder Charles Lucas, Sr. will be officiating the service. Interment will be in St. Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery.
