Mary Ann Brumfield

2 Corinthians 5:1
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

Mary Ann Brumfield, beloved member of the community, passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born on April 29, 1943, and her departure from this world has left a void that will be deeply felt by her family and friends.

Mary Ann's life was marked by love, compassion, and a fierce dedication to her community. She was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering support for those in need. Her legacy of generosity and selflessness will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Mary Ann remained an active member of the Jackson Chapel IME, in Greensburg, Louisiana. She attended services regularly and actively participated in various church activities. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found solace and strength within the walls of her beloved church.

Mary Ann's passing leaves a tremendous void, but her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor her legacy of love and compassion.

A visitation will be held on October 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Greensburg, Louisiana. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, also at the church. Interment will take place at the same location at 12:45 PM.

Mary Ann Brumfield touched the lives of many during her time with us. Her love for humanity and unwavering dedication to others serve as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and continue to carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion.
