Matthew Jackson

Mr. Matthew Jackson, a servant of the Lord, passed away on July 2, 2024 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Matthew was born on September 20,1937, and leaves a legacy as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Matthew was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mrs. Betty Deemer Jackson, and two children, Janet and Milton Jackson. and one grandson, Jaredd Okafor. Visitation will be held at Mt. Hope Baptist Church 206 Sullivan Street, Denham Springs on July 12, 2024, from 8:00-10:00 A.M. followed by the religious service at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Curtis Wilson will officiate the services. The interment will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, LA.  Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home
