Mavis Gayle Bonds was born on 03-29-1947 to Carl & Grace Hull. She was one of 7 siblings. Our Heavenly Father welcomed Mavis home on 06-14-2023, while she was surrounded by her loving family & friends.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Daron Cockerham (Toni), David Cockerham (Sherri), & Jeff Grant (Lynn). Mavis had 8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Grandchildren include: Blake Cockerham (Ashton), Jamie Landry (Colby), Jaelyn, Caden, & Carson Grant, Kennedie & Weston Daigle, & Cody Cockerham. Great grandchildren include: Audrey, Reese, & Ryder Cockerham. Also surviving by her 4 remaining siblings: Sandra Badon, Randy, Wayne, & Donnie Hull. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Grace Hull, & 2 siblings, Carlton Hull & Ouida Varnado.

Mavis enjoyed spending her time cooking, hanging out with friends & family, and spending time with her life long friend Pauline Tate.

Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 6pm,  Shiloh Baptist 
Shiloh Baptist Church Rd, Amite City, LA 70422.  Officiated by PastorLaverne King.
