Oscar Franklin, Jr., 69, a resident of Baton Rouge, departed this life Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, Baton Rouge. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Lane, Greensburg from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, Nov. 21. Visitation will resume at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 1174 Terrace St. from 9 am Saturday until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Dan Alexander. Interment in Rocky Hill Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by his sisters, Mary Lee Williams and Vera Stephen; a brother in law, Leo Stephen; two sisters in law, Betty Franklin and Rosetta Franklin; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
