Othel Tanner departed this life on September 10, 2026, at the age of 72. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Ln., Greensburg, La 70441 at 4 pm to 7 pm. Viewing will resume on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg, La 70441 at 9 am until the religious service at 11 am. Rev. Kenneth Matthews will be officiating the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
