Bishop Phillip Cochran, 73, a resident of Ponchatoula, departed this life Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. Visitation at First United COGIC, 10403 Hwy. 16, Amite from 5 pm to 9 pm Friday, Oct. 28, 2016. Religious service at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, 1005 Lavanner Dr., Hammond at 12 noon Saturday. Conducted by Dr. Samuel Brown. Interment in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Greensburg.
