Rev. Marshall Holiday

Rev. Marshall Holiday, Jr., was born on Feb. 9, 1940 in Greensburg, LA to the union of the late Marshall Holiday, Sr. and Velma Odom Holiday. Rev. Holiday was married to the late Irma Dell Berry Holiday for over 52 years. To their union 8 children were born. Rev. Holiday was an active pastor serving on all levels of the AME denomination in various elected and appointed capacities during his 40 years of ministry. He transitioned from this life Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017. Visitation at Black Creek AME Church, 217 Black Creek Rd., Darlington, LA , 70441 from 6 pm to 9 pm Thursday, Aug. 24. Religious service at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg at 1 pm Friday. Dismissal following religious service at Black Creek AME Church.
