Robert Jones

Robert Jones, Sr., age 81, a long time resident of Greensburg, LA, departed this life Friday, March 24, 2017. He was a graduate of the St. Helena School System. He worked tirelessly as a carpenter for over 40 years with Tomac Construction, Inc. in Greensburg. Viewing at Lazard Temple Church of God in Christ, 15750 Hwy. 43, Greensburg, Elder Milton Bryant, pastor from 9 am Friday, March 31 until religious service at 11 am. Interment in Nettle's Chapel Cemetery, Greensburg. He leaves to cherish his memories; a union of early life to Edna L. Jones; 3 sons, Stanley Blackman, Craig Knox and Robert Jones, Jr.; 3 daughters, Rose Marie Rankins, Debra A. Jones and Edeassa Lawson and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, four uncles, an aunt and two gradchildren. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Greensburg.
