Rose Holliday

Rosa J. Holliday, 65, a former state and retired federal employee and a resident of Slaughter, departed this life Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 at her home. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs from 3 pm to 6 pm Sunday, Dec. 27. Religious service at Hightime Evangelistic Center, 1860 Pettit Rd., Baker at 11 am Monday. Conducted by Pastor Bennie B. McFarland. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens, Baton Rouge. Survived by her husband of 50 years, John M. Holliday, Jr.; three sons, Ronny Holliday, Sr. (Wanda), Larry Holliday and John Holliday, III. (Valerie); a sister, Paula D. Ambrose, six grandchildren, a great grandchild, sisters, brothers and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her daughter, Anjannette Holliday.
