Sadie Mae Travis Peters, 85, a retired educator with the Livingston parish school system and a resident of Walker, departed this life Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. Visitation at St. Mark Baptist Church, 13590 Dunn St., Walker from 8 am Friday, Dec. 1 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Edgar L. Thomas. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother, a sister, a sister-n-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
