A native and resident of Greensburg, LA. Samuel received his wings on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the age of 97 years and 6 months at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of Pipkin Chapel AME all his life. He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters:
Corrine Reese, Evangelist Pearl (Willie) Porter, Minnie Duhe and Patricia Coleman. Five sons: Minister Donald (Albertha) Coleman, Charles (Edna) Coleman, Jimmy (Jennifer) Coleman, Melvin (Anita) Coleman; Joe Coleman. His sister Sally Shropshire, brother Alton Colman, sister-in-law Ruby Marrow, and brother-in-law David Torrance. 24 grandchildren, 28 Great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren
