Monday, June 19, 2017 at his resident. He was a self employed painter and sheet rock finisher. Visitation at New Zion Baptist Church, 126 East St., Denham Springs, Rev. Dr. Leroy Taylor, pastor from 9 am Saturday, June 24 until religious service at 12 noon. Conducted by Bishop James E. Reed. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived by his parents, Idella and Bobby Dillion of Denham Springs and Gloria S. Carter of Baker; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Spencer M. Carter and two sisters, Rencer Carter Fortenberry and Ann Carter Glover. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham Springs.
