TrTrina“T. Marie” Robertson, a natve New Orleanian, entered into her eternal rest on Friday, November 24, 2023, at her home in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 54. She was a beauful soul and the apple of her family’s eye. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Minister Patricia Doughty, and brother, Dwayne K. Doughty. She leaves to cherish her memories to her beloved husband, Don Robertson Sr.; son, Don Robertson Jr.; daughter, Dajah Robertson; 2 grandchildren, Aubrey and Aadyn Robertson; 4 sisters, Karen Doughty, Sharon Gibson (late Paul), Patricia Bernard (Allen), Shelita Williams (Clarence); brother, Greg Foley. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Ray and Marclean Robertson; sister-in-law Renee Sellers; Godchild, Jordan Jones; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Trina was the youngest of six children and a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School in New Orleans, LA. She connued her education at Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge, LA, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Trina brought warmth and kindness to her paents at Ochsner Medical Center and Our Lady of the Lake. Her love for God was not just a private devoon, but a living and actve part of who she was. Her faith guided her every day and showed in everything she did. Trina served on Lion of Judah and He Sent His Word telephone ministries. Alongside her deep faith, she found joy in the personal pleasures of life, like shopping. Whether she was looking for the latest fashion, the perfect materials for her next creative project or finding unique items that spoke to her vibrant personality, shopping was a source of happiness and self-expression for Trina. She was a woman of many talents from creating her own soap, laundry detergent, lotons, lip gloss, hair oil, cakes, cupcakes, balloons, t-shirts, caps, costumes, =oral arrangements, party planning, and wreaths. There was not much that she could not do. She was a beacon of light in her community, known for her ability to and humor in everyday situations. Trina had the brightest and most welcoming personality, bringing joy and comfort to all of those around her, always being there for anyone who needed her even as she battled cancer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, 10am until religious service 11am. Both services will be held at Christian Faith Ministries, 9229 North Ridgewood Dr. Baton Rouge, LA. 70806.
Interment : Greenoaks Memorial Gardens, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
