Velma Irving, 100, a resident of Greensburg, departed this life Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home. Visitation at Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd., Greensburg from 9 am
Thursday, April 20 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Moses Simms. Interment in Turner Chapel Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by her son, Paxton Ameche Gordon; eleven great grandchildren, Chiqueena Gordon, India Magee, Shallon Gordon, Kori McKnight, Chyneikah Harris, Angellia Gordon, Alexsia Wheat, Meshonda Crosby, Deonta Gordon, Deondra Porter and Breonna Johnson; fourteen great-great grandchildren; a sister, Imogene W. Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Greensburg.
