Vertlee Hurley Washington

Vertlee Hurley Washington, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, departed this life on September 9, 2025, at the age of 105. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her children; Joycelyn W. Guntz, William J. Washington, Jr. and Keith Michael Washington (Maryann) , grandchildren; Demetrise Ballerini (Cosimo), Marc Washington and Kimberly G. Washington, great grandson; Colby T. Washington, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Shaw Temple UMC, 8818 Pear St., New Orleans, La 70118 at 10 am. Rev. Preston will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery.
