Rev. Willie L. Brumfield, 82, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Greensburg, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rocky Hill AME Church, 151 Rocky Hill Rd., Amite from 8 am Saturday,
Sept. 9 until religious service at 10 am. Conducted by Rev. Joe Chaney. Interment in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Ella Mae Terrell Brumfield; children, Willie, Jr. (Thelma), Laverne, Virginia (Albert) and Shirley (Stafford, Sr.); sisters, Elizabeth Muse, Betty Brumfield and Bobbie (Howard); brothers, Leroy Brumfield (Rosetta), David Brumfield, Sr. (Mary Ann), Johnny Walker and Malcolm Brumfield. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Greensburg.
